I was born on Curacao in 1959. I went to Holland to study psychology. In Holland, I worked in all kinds of areas of youth care. I advised, coached and guided teams, I gave therapy and I trained professionals. I specialized in children and their family’s growing up in unsafe circumstances, experiencing Adverse Childhood Experience's (ACE's) and for that developing complex trauma and passing it on to generations. 5 years ago I got this wonderful chance to go to Bonaire and use my knowledge to help the youth help system here grow and develop.
