Gather parallel presentation by KIN

Arno Nolte (Deltares), Danick Trouwloon (KIN) & Carolyn Caporusso (WWF)

Small island territories in the Caribbean are particularly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change. As part of its Climate Plan, Bonaire has developed a Knowledge Agenda to better organise and apply climate-related knowledge for decision-making. Facilitated by the IPDC, KIN and WWF-NL and co-created with the Bonaire Climate Table and 28 stakeholder organisations, the agenda brings together existing insights, identifies key knowledge gaps, and defines 14 priority, action-oriented knowledge projects. This short/live poster presentation will discuss the social knowledge processes which the Knowledge Agenda calls for. This includes social and behavioural scientific research, as well as the translation, coordination, and implementation of broad scientific knowledge towards climate change adaptation in the Caribbean.
